Knock Down Rebuild
Keep the location you love. Replace a tired house with one built for the next thirty years.
When a house has reached the end of its useful life, rebuilding often costs less and delivers far more than a heavy renovation. You keep the street, the neighbours and the outlook - and gain a home with modern insulation, waterproofing and layout.
We manage the whole sequence: demolition approvals, service disconnections, asbestos handling where required, and the new build that follows.

How we approach knock down rebuild
Rebuild feasibility first
We compare rebuild against a deep renovation with honest numbers before you commit to either.
Sequencing the disconnections
Water, power, gas and telecommunications disconnections have lead times. Started early, they never hold up demolition.
Neighbour and council management
Notification, traffic control and site fencing are handled so demolition week is uneventful.

FAQs
Common questions
- Is a knock down rebuild cheaper than renovating?
- Not always, but frequently. Once a renovation touches structure, wiring, plumbing and waterproofing, the cost per square metre can exceed new construction - with a compromised result.
- How long does demolition take?
- The physical demolition is usually one to two weeks. The approvals and disconnections beforehand take longer than the machine work.
- Can we subdivide at the same time?
- Sometimes, depending on lot size and zoning. We'll flag whether it's worth a planner's opinion during the first consultation.
